Privacy Policy
Effective September 28, 2026
This policy explains how Martin’s Makerspace LLC in Fayetteville, North Carolina handles information through martinsmakerspace.com, our personalization tools, and the business’s connected social-account tools.
Information we collect
- Account and contact information: your name, email, sign-in identifiers, and any phone number or delivery address you provide. When you use an outside sign-in provider, we receive the identity information needed to sign you in, such as your name, email, and provider account identifier.
- Designs and requests: uploaded artwork and product photos, text and personalization names, design placement, saved designs, quote messages, quantities, and proof preferences.
- Order records: ordered items, pricing, discounts, fulfillment information, tracking, communications, and artwork-rights confirmations. Confirmations include the wording and terms version, submission time, supplied customer details, and the staff member’s identity when staff records a customer’s confirmation.
- Technical information: cookies, browser storage, and hosting or security logs that may include IP address, browser information, request time, and error details.
WhatsApp sign-in
If WhatsApp sign-in is available and you choose to use it, Meta handles your phone number and verification request. We use verification results and a linked account identifier to recognize your account. Requesting a sign-in code does not subscribe you to promotional messages.
How we use information
We use information to operate accounts and saved designs; review artwork and prepare quotes and proofs; make, deliver, and support orders; apply discounts; respond to questions; maintain business records; and protect the website from misuse. Staff access information needed for their work.
Artwork submitted for an order or quote is used to handle that request. The artwork-rights confirmation does not give us permission to use customer artwork in advertising or public galleries; that requires separate permission.
Connected social accounts
Our social dashboard is for the business owner to manage Martin’s Makerspace’s own accounts. When an account is connected, we may receive its account or Page identifier, display name, profile link, granted permissions, and access or refresh tokens. We also store owner-created post drafts, selected media and destinations, and publishing results needed to manage those posts.
For Pinterest, authorized access is used to identify the business account, retrieve available boards, and create Pins selected by the owner. Board choices are retrieved when needed. We do not ask for a Pinterest password. Connecting Pinterest does not give it access to customer account, order, or private design records; content is sent only when the owner selects it for publication. Other connected platforms receive the content and instructions selected for them.
The owner can disconnect an account in the social dashboard to remove its saved access credentials and stop future use of that connection. Access can also be revoked through the platform’s settings. Disconnecting does not remove posts already published on a platform or automatically erase past draft and publishing records. For deletion of retained connection-related records, contact us below. Each platform separately controls data held by it.
Service providers and sharing
We use providers for website hosting and storage, sign-in, email, and business administration. These include OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure, Google services used for sign-in and business email, and Google Drive and Sheets used to organize business records and artwork. Authorized staff may access those records to fulfill requests.
When Square is used for payment, Square handles payment details under its own privacy policy. This website does not store full payment-card numbers or card security codes. Order and payment status may be retained with business records.
Delivery providers may receive the contact and shipping details needed to deliver an order. We may also disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security issues, or disputes. We do not sell customer or connected-account information through this website or use connected social-account data to build advertising profiles of customers.
Cookies and storage on your device
We use cookies to maintain sign-in sessions and browser storage to remember cart contents, guest design drafts, appearance preferences, and discount or checkout progress. You can clear these using your browser controls, but doing so may sign you out or remove drafts and cart contents stored only on that device. Removing a local draft does not delete copies already submitted to us or saved in an account.
Opening external social links or using third-party sign-in and payment services is subject to those services’ own privacy and cookie practices.
Retention and security
We retain information as needed to provide saved-account features, fulfill and support orders, maintain required business records, and resolve disputes. Retention depends on the type of record and the purpose for keeping it. Deleting a saved design does not erase a copy attached to a prior order or quote. Copies in business records and backups may remain where needed for these purposes or until their normal replacement.
We use access controls and protected storage for connection credentials. No website or transmission method can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can update profile details in your account and delete saved designs from the Studio. To request access, correction, or deletion of other personal information, including order, quote, or connected-account records, email logan@martinsmakerspace.com. Include the account email or order reference and describe your request. Please do not send passwords or access tokens.
We may ask for information needed to verify your identity or authority. We will review the request, explain any information that must be retained for legal or legitimate business purposes, and respond as required by applicable law. When a request includes business copies in Google Drive or Sheets, we will review those copies as part of the request. For information held independently by a social platform or another provider, use that provider’s privacy controls.
Children
The website is intended for adults making purchases or business inquiries, not for children under 13 to create accounts or submit information. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our services or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
