Artwork Terms
Effective September 28, 2026 · Version 2026-09-28
These terms apply to artwork, text, logos, images, and other content you supply for a personalized product or design quote.
Confirm your rights
You confirm that you own the content or have the permissions or other legal rights needed for us to reproduce it on the requested products, including any necessary copyright, trademark, and name or likeness permissions. If you are submitting on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
Permission must cover the actual use, including printing or engraving on products and any resale you intend. Finding an image online, purchasing a digital file, or owning an item bearing a logo does not by itself establish reproduction rights. Follow any limits in a license, such as quantity or commercial-use restrictions.
Permission to fulfill your request
You keep your ownership rights. You give Martin’s Makerspace permission to store, review, resize, format, prepare proofs of, and reproduce your submitted content as needed to quote, produce, deliver, and support your requested products. Necessary service providers and staff may handle the content for those purposes.
This permission does not authorize unrelated resale of your artwork or its use in our advertising, social posts, or public galleries. We will seek separate permission for those uses.
Review and requests for permission
We may ask for a license or written authorization and may decline, pause, or cancel work when rights are unclear or content appears to infringe another person’s rights. Do not submit content you know you are not authorized to use.
A design preview, proof, quote, or acceptance of an order is not a legal determination that artwork is cleared for use. Your confirmation does not transfer ownership, create rights you do not have, or prevent a rights holder from bringing a claim.
Your confirmation
Before submitting a design quote or personalized order, you must affirm:
I confirm that I own the artwork, text, logos, and images I am submitting, or have the permissions or other legal rights needed for Martin’s Makerspace to reproduce them on the requested products. I authorize that use to fulfill my request and agree to the Artwork Terms.
When staff enters an order for a customer, staff must obtain and record the customer’s confirmation and agreement to these terms. We distinguish that staff attestation from a confirmation submitted directly by a customer. A new order requires a new confirmation.
We record the confirmation wording, terms version, time, and relevant customer or staff details with the submitted request. See our Privacy Policy for how those records are handled.
Questions or rights concerns
Contact logan@martinsmakerspace.com before ordering if you are uncertain about permission. If you believe content submitted to us infringes your rights, identify the work, explain your relationship to it, and provide enough information for us to locate the request.
